Wendy Read is a certified herbalist, holistic massage therapist, and plant spirit healing practitioner with a bachelor\u2019s degree in biochemistry who has studied with herbalists and shamanic healers from around the world. Since 2005 she has taught at Motherland Sanctuary and many other herbal schools and symposiums, including her own school, The California Healing Institute. She is a spiritual counselor and the founding minister of the Caretaker\u2019s Garden, where she also runs her holistic family practice. She lives in Northern California.
