Up until very recently, I felt like I had a handle on facing my fears and getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, but I\u2019ve come to realize that I haven\u2019t even scratched the surface!\n \xa0\n This weekend, I\u2019m speaking at an event (THRIVE), and while I\u2019m speaking to like-minded people, it\u2019s not my usual audience. It\u2019s got me stepping outside of my comfort zone and feeling all sorts of butterflies. It\u2019s super beautiful and exciting but scary \u2013 all at the same time.\n \xa0\n This quote I posted on Instagram sums up this fear, excitement and growth that I\u2019m feeling and who I need to become to get through it:\n \xa0\n \u201cYou\u2019ll never grow into the woman you know you\u2019re meant to be until she\u2019s forced to come out. It\u2019s your job to create a life she can\u2019t hide from.\u201d\n \xa0\n So what does this mean? It\u2019s our job to create a life based on not our current selves, but instead our future selves. You have to do the things, go to the places and let that woman out!\n \xa0\n \u201cYou will rise to the occasion when your butt is on the line.\u201d\n \xa0\n Sounds scary, I know, but that\u2019s the point. We all have \u201calter egos\u201d that only come out when called upon, but you must have faith that it will appear. If you create these places when you have so much riding on your performance your higher self will come out. And if it doesn\u2019t happen the way you think and you fall flat on your face\u2026GOOD! You didn\u2019t die, your learned from it and you know how to change it for next time.\n \xa0\n \u201cI\u2019d rather be failing left and right and feeling alive and growing as a human being than walking around bored and half dead.\u201d\n \xa0\n There is no magic potion. We are ALL created the same, some just have more faith that things will work out and their higher self won\u2019t let them down.\n \xa0\n \u201cChoose and create things that you have to show up for bigger than you ever have before.\u201d\n Stop waiting and create those places and situations where your higher self can come alive!
