How many of you scroll through social media more often than you\u2019d like to admit? Hand raised here! But check this out\u2026 My friend, Michael Zeller, just informed me the other day that when you\u2019re distracted from a task, it takes 13 minutes for your mind to get back on track. So just think, if you\u2019re sidetracked even four times a day, that\u2019s a WHOLE hour of floundering trying to get back on track. This is why we must\u2026\n \u201cGet fierce with eliminating distractions.\u201d\n These days our thoughts and social media are the winners when it comes to time-wasting. Now don\u2019t get me wrong, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s always bad to spend time on social media, but it is when all you\u2019re doing is comparing or numbing out. For instance, are you really just checking in on Jane, or do you immediately start comparing her life to yours when you look at her pictures? If the latter sounds familiar, I\u2019m here to tell you that you\u2019re not alone, and you CAN stop comparing yourself to others, But first, you have to beat the addiction to comparison (and the other common addictions such as judgment, blame and numbing out).
