Thank you Jackie for sharing your story with me this afternoon! Jackie was born in Selma in 1958, went to a segregated elementary school, became a first generation college grad out of a single parent household, rose to the highest level of service in the Selma city hall over the course of her 26 year career before turning her focus to building The Coffeeshoppe.
