Notice it says,\xa0\u201cGive us this day our daily bread.\u201d Jesus did not say, \u201cGive us this day a Mercedes Benz,\u201d he\u2019s teaching us to pray about sustenance, not lavishness, in other words, if all God hears from us is, \u201cGive me this home, possession, car, job, wardrobe, power, influence\u201d then we have missed the point of prayer.
