Taking kids out of school in term time is back in the news\u2026asking whether there should be some exeptions\u2026eg Police and servicemen. The consensus seems to be that it should be one rule for all\u2026the problem lies in the rise in price of holidays when the schools are off\u2026.if parents want their kids educating they can\u2019t have it all ways.\n\nI have been watching Wills and Kate in Australia with their new nipper\u2026.I must say that Kate is a lovely girl and very photogenic and I think she is doing a great job out there\u2026.When she was talking to an old serviceman she held his hand which I thought was really nice and she was great with all the kids who came out to see her\u2026..nice example.\n\nI wish the BBC would get someone in the news department who give us SOMETHING of interest on their bulletins\u2026I am sick and tired of the OscarPistorious case taking up so much time with NOTHING happening\u2026.we really are NOT interested in this country\u2026all we need to know is the result\u2026.as I have always said\u2026there is too much time given to the news\u2026two half hour bulletins a day would do.\n\nThe Crown Prosecution Service has come under fire for wasting time and money on cases that should never have been brought to court\u2026e.g. the Nigel Evans case\u2026he was cleared of all charges when the WITNESSES said he hadn\u2019t done anything wrong\u2026they ruin a blokes life,put him through hell\u2026then come out with some lame excuse\u2026.the boss of the CPS (woman) saying that 87% of cases they take end in prosecution\u2026OH so that\u2019s O.K. then\u2026let\u2019s not worry about the lives ruined,the money it\u2019s cost and the false accusers getting away scott free\u2026.celebrity witch hunts or what?\n\nAnd finally there was a chap on tele explaining how he had accosted a couple of burglars stealing stuff from his goods yard\u2026.he approached them and one of them picked up a plank and attacked him\u2026he managed to take the plank off him and \u201cdefended\u201d himself leaving the burglar in a right mess\u2026although he deserved congratulating he was arrested and taken to court for unnecessary GBH\u2026.HOWEVER the case lasted 20 minutes before rightly being dismissed\u2026.the legal system in this country needs shaking up\u2026I think those in control are from another planet.\n\nNot to mention some guy in JAIL who got knocked about by another prisoner being awarded DAMAGES\u2026.I give up !!!
