Newswatch is back which gives the opportunity for viewers to\ncriticise the news coverage....the complaints ranged from the\nridiculous coverage of our "heatwave" and the forthcoming\nenergy price rises.....both being on at the top of the news day\nafter day........and the unnecessary coverage of child violence\non the 6p.m. news......needless to say there was no BBC\nNews representative available to comment.\n\nThen we have the devastating floods in Pakistan watching\nthe suffering and hardships it brings as they reach out for\nhelp......as we watch the spaceship preparing to go off to the\nmoon....say no more.\n\nThe handwritten lyrics to David Bowie's "Starman" have been\nfound which will sell for thousands.....it's a piece of paper\n.....but obviously it means so much more to those who see so\nmuch in it......or think they do.\n\nAs there was absolutely nothing worth watching on TV last\nSaturdayI thought I would watch something I've never\nseen....The Masked Dancer.....where celebs dress up in\ncostumes and hide their face and dance in front of a panel of\ntalentless celebs who have to guess who the dancer is........to\nsay it's the biggest load of rubbish I have ever seen would be\nan understatement.....as bad as it gets.....that is an hour and\na half I will will never get back\n.................followed by "The Voice" where hopefuls come on\nand sing behind a row of celebs...after we have heard their\nsob stories... the celebs spin around if they like\nthem.....absolute garbage....but at least it's on ITV so I'm not\npaying for it.\n\nI felt it was time to look back at some of the hits from the good\nold days and came across this one....those of a certain age\nmoan about modern music so I though we could feature this\nsong.....which was actually a hit back in the day.....it is so bad\nit should serve as a reminder that we never got it right all the\ntime.....Jess Conrad singing "Cherry Pie"
