.Great euphoria over Andy Murray\u2019s win\u2026. \u2026..at last we have someone who can serve\u2026that\u2019s the key\u2026.\u2026.as for the ladies final\u2026oh dear..none event or what\u2026AND they get the same prize money as the blokes\u2026\u2026.but I don\u2019t know why they have to put so many pointless statistics on the screen\u2026the ball revolved at 200 rpm etc\u2026who cares?....it somewhat overshadowed the British Lions win\u2026there was hardly a mention on the news\u2026any other time they would have been lining the streets.\n \nThere have been several arty festivals up and down the country\u2026.now I don\u2019t know about you but poetry leaves me cold\u2026especially when it doesn\u2019t rhyme\u2026and the poets go over the top when they are reciting their \u201cworks\u201d\u2026I just do not get poetry\u2026.don\u2019t mind the odd naughty limerick but as far as I\u2019m concerned it\u2019s money for old rope......and a village down south is scraping up road kill and keeping it in fridges in case it is claimed\u2026\n\nThe television is atrocious at the moment\u2026.so I have been attempting to watch the odd American series\u2026.why is it that the Americans mumble all the time\u2026they CAN\u2019T act\u2026\u2026BRING BACK SIR LARRY !!!.....darling.\n \n.... as for the BBC news\u2026.it\u2019s time the Beeb got a grip\u2026.they had a young girl in the studio whining about a ticket collector on a train who approached her when she was breast feeding her baby and told her there were facilities in the toilets if she wanted more privacy\u2026\u2026is it me or was there absolutely no point to this\u2026there are charities out there who could really use 5 minutes on the national news\u2026\n \n.....on the subject of the BBC they have been criticized for paying out big money to the past bosses\u2026including the one who only lasted a few weeks\u2026personally I wouldn\u2019t pay any of them in washers\u2026and the MPs are getting a 10 grand rise\u2026they \u201creluctantly\u201d voted in favourof it\u2026surprise surprise\u2026.but it\u2019s O.K. their lunch allowance will be reduced\u2026
