.The song I have sent you this week is the original demo for a song I wrote for Penny Page and Googi the Liverpool Duck\u2026.I wrote several songs for her all of which she recorded\u2026this one was a B side.\n\nYou will appreciate it\u2019s Liverpool appeal\u2026.it\u2019s called \u201cI\u2019d Like To Be a Cowboy\u201d\u2026the words were changed to suit Googi\u2026ie \u201cCowgirl\u201d\u2026but this demo is what they worked from on the record\u2026..don\u2019t say I don\u2019t send you unique stuff.\n\nNow then\u2026The Eurovision\u2026.I really don\u2019t know why we bother\u2026.it wouldn\u2019t matter what song we entered we would still be bottom of the pile. Can\u2019t we see that other countries simply don\u2019t like us?\u2026what is annoying is we put in a lot of money (wonder where it comes from) hence our direct line into the final\u2026the song wasn\u2019t that bad\u2026certainly 10 times better than 90% of the others\u2026even better than the winner in my opinion\u2026.pure politics\u2026..the bookies were offering 80 to 1 on us winning\u2026I thought it might be worth a quid\u2026.it wasn\u2019t. The only answer is to let them get on with it\u2026.then the results wouldn\u2019t be so painful to watch.\n\nA law is about to be passed which will involve a \xa31000 fine for people who drop litter\u2026.what we are not told is WHO is going to enforce it?...the amount of the fine still wont make any difference to the lowlifes who don\u2019t give a monkeys\u2026.the main offenders are teenagers so who do they think will pay the fines?\u2026it wont be them\u2026.perhaps if they installed more bins around the area and got some of the community service criminals to empty them it might help\u2026..\n\nI watched Sunday Night at The Palladium for the first and last time\u2026.Jason Manford reminding us that humour has finally died in this country and a \u201cnew\u201d comedian who re-inforced it\u2026plus a selection of variety acts who get about 5 minutes each\u2026awful\u2026..then we have the same old faces on all the time\u2026Ant and Dec....I started to watch a new series called SunTrap starring Bradley Walsh\u2026.couldn\u2019t take more than 10 minutes\u2026it was TERRIBLE\u2026so I turned over to ITV and guess what there was a programme about the history of game shows\u2026presented by Bradley Walsh\u2026who is also on a Saturday night load of rubbish called Play The Whistle AND he\u2019s in the drama Law and Order\u2026that\u2019s apart from being on every night in the Winter on The Chase\u2026he\u2019s probably a nice chap but I\u2019m sick of the sight of him\u2026give us a break let\u2019s have some new faces.\nI think all those involved in TV production should go back to school and learn what entertainment actually is.\n\nI had to laugh at the news footage of the Liverpool Football Team enjoying their holiday in Dubai (?)\u2026.all dancing around led by Steven Gerrard\u2026the recent 6 goal thrashing didn\u2019t seem to be bothering them\u2026mind you when you are on 100 grand a week who cares?...the fans should have been given a full refund.\n\nThen there\u2019s Sepp Blatter\u2026oh dear\u2026he had no idea that 7 of his staff were ripping off the world\u2026.yeah sure\u2026..football is becoming a joke I\u2019m afraid.
