This week\u2019s song is called \u201cLaughter is Everything to Me\u201d and was written for my old mate Pauline Daniels back in the day. Pauline has a great voice but she decided to turn to comedy (and did very well) so I wrote this song for her act\u2026the lyrics get the message over and she sings it great \u2026.I used to enjoy recording with her as she was such a good laugh. She hasn\u2019t been too well of late but I think she has recovered\u2026.\n \nSad to hear of the death of Christopher Lee\u2026.he was the ONLY Dracula\u2026.this was the first horror film I ever saw\u2026I was 13 and sneaked in (as it was an X)\u2026I have never been so frightened\u2026I saw it TWICE and still got the jitters even when I knew what was coming\u2026a classic film.\nHe was one of those characters who made the part his\u2026there is only ONE Superman\u2026Christopher Reeve\u2026.only one Batman\u2026Adam West\u2026and only one real James Bond\u2026Sean Connery\u2026all the others are imposters\u2026.speaking of Batman\u2026 Adam West was doing a book signing in Liverpool in the 90s so I popped along got in the queue bought his book got it signed and shook his hand\u2026I couldn\u2019t resist and said \u201cI\u2019d like to thank you for all the good work you did in Gotham City\u201d\u2026he said \u201c..sure thing\u201d and instantly dismissed me\u2026.but I shook Batman\u2019s hand !!!!!\n \n3.The Government are talking about banning homework from junior schools\u2026.I didn\u2019t even know they did homework\u2026we never did (which probably explains a lot).\nThey reckon it is making youngsters stressed\u2026I couldn\u2019t agree more\u2026mid you these days they would spend their time on their computers and mobiles\u2026I say ban homework and force them to play out in the street\u2026then they might learn how to enjoy life.\n \nThere is a move afoot to prosecute nuisance callers who constantly try to sell you things over the phone\u2026it apparently affects a lot of older folk who feel intimidated. This is a good move and needs sorting\u2026.personally I never have a problem as I have an instant two word response (which I can\u2019t repeat\u2026but I think you can guess)\u2026it seems to work\u2026.one guy suggested answering in an Icelandic accent asking them to constantly repeat the question\u2026but I haven\u2019t got that sort of time\u2026my way takes 2 seconds.\n \n5.The news has been covering (so to speak) the girl who had her picture taken naked on the top of a Malaysian mountain \u2026very strange\u2026the locals have accused her of offending the mountain Gods\u2026and could cause an earthquake\u2026..I\u2019m sure the young lady meant no harm but it\u2019s a strange situation when looked at through Western eyes\u2026I\u2019m all for respecting the beliefs of others\u2026it\u2019s a shame some of the immigrants who come into this country don\u2019t feel the same.
