In tv and movie news, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is delayed to September. Resident Alien is renewed for a season 2 on SYFY. The Resident Evil reboot film has a new title. Netflix finished filming on the live-action Cowboy Bebop. Secret Invasion on Disney Plus adds Kingsley Ben-Adir to the cast. The Last of Us on HBO will be adapted from the story of the first game. King of the Hill could be seeing a revival, set 15 years later.

In reviews, we visit a the small town of Banshee on HBO Max and Patience, Colorado in Resident Alien on SYFY. We fly in with a spoiler free review on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney Plus and Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max. In gaming news, Sony gives out a handful of games for free as a part of the Play at Home initiative. The exclusive Spider-Man DLC for Marvel's The Avengers is now delayed to prioritize other content. Gotham Knights has been pushed back to 2022 by WB Games. Jade Raymond announces a new studio with an unannounced game for PlayStation. Xbox is adding quick resume to download ques for faster speeds and Microsoft is also partnering with Twitch for an  event to highlight over 100 indie titles. Sony Interactive Entertainment has purchased the Evolution Championship Series, known as EVO. Gamescom 2021 will officially be a hybrid event with digital content as well as demos available in a convention center.
