Welcome to Dissecting This Fiction! It's episode 32, so come join along as my Co-host (Jessica) and I (Steven) go over the latest in movies, tv shows, and games.\nWhat's On The Exam Table?\n

In gaming, The Media Indie Exchange puts together an event for smaller developers to showcase their games, while EA and Ubisoft announce their own events for this summer. Cyberpunk 2077 lets you mix and match your genitals, if you're into that sort of thing. Microsoft reveals a bunch of third party games that will be on the Xbox Series X with Smart Delivery. Warzone wasn't a part of it, but it should make an appearance on next gen. Vader invades the Playstation VR. Jessica played Red Dead Redemption 2 on Game Pass.

In TV news, a fan favorite Star Wars character gets cast in The Mandalorian and a few directors announce their contribution to the new season. Nicolas Cage gets exotic for a tv show. Speaking of Cage! Disney expands on the National Treasure franchise. The Office gets an unofficial reunion. Steven reviews an Amazon Original, Upload and Disney Plus Original, Star Wars The Clone Wars series finale. Jessica ends the television section with her review on The Morning Show on Apple TV Plus.

In trailers, we check out Space Force coming to Netflix later this month.

For movies, Tom Cruise is headed to space and NASA approves. Netflix plans another extraction. The new Mutants make a brief appearance on Amazon. Borderlands may have its Lilith. and Bright 2 gets a little brighter with talks of a director. We finish the episode with our review on Captive State, a 2019 sci fi film.
