Batman Talk Podcast Episode 11 - Bob Kane gets a Star in Hollywood, where's Bill

Tonight we will be talking about Bob Kane's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he will be getting it on October 21st.

Hollywood\u2019s famous Walk of Fame includes stars devoted to such luminaries as Humphrey Bogart, Jack Nicholson, Audrey Hepburn and Steven Spielberg\u2026 and soon, Batman creator Bob Kane.

\n\n

As revealed this morning by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Kane will be receiving a posthumous star in the category of Motion Pictures for his creation of Batman\u2014a character who has successfully made the leap from comics to film more times than any other Super Hero.

The ceremony will take place on October 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. PST and will feature bothBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filmmaker Zack Snyder and DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Jim Lee as guest speakers, as well as the Batman v Superman Batmobile. (The Batmobile won\u2019t be guest speaking. Instead, it\u2019ll be parked there looking too awesome for words.)\n
