Evidence Against ExxonMobil Grows with New Study

A new peer-reviewed study in the journal Science shows that not only did Exxon scientists suspect climate change, driven by the burning of fossil fuels, was a growing problem that would lead to crisis if left unchecked, but they were terrifyingly accurate in their modeling and predictions. That scientific evidence adds another layer of certainty to the evidence base in various cases attempting to hold Exxon accountable for misleading the public, and policymakers, on climate change. This month we're re-releasing S1 of our sister show Drilled in this feed, because it walks through step by step what Exxon knew and when, and what they did with that information, including interviews with several of the scientists who did that original climate research at Exxon.
