Marisa Atkinson, an\xa0analyst\xa0from Flashpoint,\xa0joins Dave to discuss a new blog post from Flashpoint\u2019s research team about \u201cRisePro\u201d Stealer, malware from Russia, and Pay-Per-Install Malware \u201cPrivateLoader.\u201d \u201cRisePro\u201d is written in C++\xa0and\xa0appears to possess similar functionality to the stealer malware \u201cVidar.\u201d It's also a newly identified stealer, that began appearing as a stealer source for log credentials on the illicit log shop Russian Market on December 13, 2022.\nThe research states, "Samples that Flashpoint analysts identified indicate that RisePro may have been dropped or downloaded by the pay-per-install malware downloader service \u201cPrivateLoader\u201d in the past year."
