Brenda Marie Davies is author of the book, On Her Knees: Memoir of a Prayerful Jezebel. The book chronicles a spiritual journey that started when she was 19 years old and moved to Los Angeles. Over the course of the following decade, she experienced marriage, divorce, unlikely friendships, and sexual exploration, and through this, began deconstructing the messages, beliefs, fear and shame of a childhood that was influenced by a conservative Christian church. In addition to her work as author, she is a podcaster and YouTuber. She began this career by speaking to young people about sex and religion. Now her work has blossomed into a YouTube channel with well over a 100 thousand subscribers.

Brenda's platform has become an interactive space for people of all ages, orientations and beliefs to engage, seek guidance and heal. Her banner, God Is Grey is a sex positive, intellectual, faith affirming guide to becoming an inquisitive, fearless free thinking modern Christian. Her story is a story for anyone who wonders if it\u2019s possible to love God without fearing sex, in all its shades of grey.
