Coach Lachen Reid was a longtime hockey player, but towards the end of his playing days, he recognized that he loved training for hockey much more than he loved playing the games.  This made it a natural transition for him to become a strength coach.  With mentors like former Cutoffs & Coffee guests Austin Jochum and Jake Tuura, Reid created his own philosophies and techniques that have helped his athletes consistently improve their strength and speed, as well as their play on the court/field/ice.  In this episode, we dive into many different speed training techniques, cover Coach Reid\u2019s take on the correlation between training and religion, and we try to figure out what is in the water (or snow) in Minnesota that produces a ton of the great minds in the strength and performance field.
