Shane Austin played major college football at the University of Hawaii. Austin also played big time professional football, setting multiple team records, in the Arena Football League. But he’ll be the first one to tell you, he never passed the “eye test.” Shorter than most professional quarterbacks, Shane had to develop an elite skill set that couldn’t be seen with the naked eye; enter visualization training. Austin developed the mental skills he needed to thrust him past his competitors, and gave him a huge advantage on the field. He has now taken that skill set, and been able to coach 100s of athletes to be able to give them the mental edge over competitors. Hear his notes, techniques, and tricks that helped turn Shane Austin into a record setting professional QB. With the help of his brother, Shane has also developed a smartphone app to guide them through a pregame visualization session, and as a favor to the podcast, we finish the conversation with Coach Austin taking James and CT through a pre-performance “game ready!”
