23. Answering Your Burning Questions (with Jesse Paine)

Published: March 5, 2019, 11:26 a.m.

Today’s episode is going to be something completely new! So many of you have asked such great questions, and I really appreciate them, but it’s hard for me to manage to answer them all. That’s why today’s episode is completely devoted to answering your burning questions! Jesse is here to read the questions that you’ve asked, and we’ll answer them together! This will be extra fun because I haven’t thought about the answers ahead of time, so you’ll hear my totally honest answers on the fly.

One of the questions is about picking a new hobby. Mine would involve either a spinning wheel or sports. (Those probably sound pretty dramatically different!) We’ll also chat about what we like about living in Tennessee, and why the rain amazed us so much the first time we saw it here. It’s so hard to pick just one favorite dessert, but if I had to, it would probably be a fresh, warm, deep-dish cookie pizza fresh out of the oven.

And after that beautiful, sweet image, we’ll take a dive into how to develop the willpower to cut back on (or eliminate) sugar. The answer depends a lot on whether you’re internally motivated (like me) or externally motivated (like Jesse). Next, we’ll talk business: what we would do if we were working other careers, and what our worst financial decision has been.

Tune in to hear about all these things, as well as our favorite date nights, life without a credit card, whether I’ve ever not followed through with something (hint: YES!), and whether we’ve talked to our kids about dating or courting. It was so much fun answering all your questions, and we’re excited to hear what else you want us to talk about!
