The study, presented as a late-breaking trial at ACC.21 Virtual, showed that de-escalating stabilized acute myocardial infarction patients from high-potency dual antiplatelet therapy with ticagrelor to a lower-potency option \u2013 clopidogrel \u2013 30 days after percutaneous coronary intervention was safer and more effective than continuing on ticagrelor beyond 30 days.
