COVID-19 Focused Discussions: COVID-19 Registry at Yale - One on One with Dr. Manan Pareek

In the latest of Dr. Ron Waksman\u2019s COVID-19 Focused Discussions, Dr. Manan Pareek discusses Yale University\u2019s COVID-19 registry. While the registry\u2019s focus is cardiovascular variables, Yale has collected data on a number of non-cardiovascular factors and outcomes as well. Data on the first 485 patients were presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) 2020 virtual congress. The data show that these patients had a high burden of cardiovascular risk factors, including diabetes, obesity, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and that nearly half had a history of cardiovascular disease.
