The 2024 CrossFit Open kicked off with a special Golden Barbell Throwdown between Fittest Man on Earth Jeff Adler, and CrossFit Games athletes Brent Fikowski, Alex Gazan, and Alexis Raptis.
The foursome took on three workouts \u2014 Nasty Girls, Open Workout 11.3, and Open Workout 24.1 \u2014 for the chance to win the Rogue Golden Barbell.
With the exception of Fikowski, this was the athletes\u2019 first live Open announcement and the first throwdown in Open history.
