When a heart of stone is broken, only gravel is produced. This morning we find Judas the Betrayer trying to turn things around. Something has happened to give him regrest; he wishes he could undo what he's done. But regret is not a magic trick. It doesn't make things go away. Only genuine repentance can do that.
