On the night of June 14th 2015, after calls from concerned neighbours the Greene County sheriffs’ deputies searched the house of DeeDee Blanchard and her terminally ill daughter Gypsy Rose. Inside they found DeeDee brutally murdered in her bloodstained bed, her throat cut and multiple stab wounds in her back. Her severely disabled daughter Gypsy Rose was missing, the search for the ill child began. All of her medication was left in the house as well as her wheelchair.
