Level Up with Level Beer for Some Work Life Balance

Published: May 15, 2022, 3:12 p.m.

Work life balance - a difficult level to achieve. But those at Level Beer in Portland, Oregon, are well on their way to becoming over achievers. While they may not agree that they have found that sought after work life balance, they have found that balance in their beer, along with a unique take on leveling up.\xa0

Level may mean equal but it also means fun. Especially when you take "level" and turn it into play. Video game themed beers, I mean. Level up with us as we chat work life balance, beer balance, and the ability to keep it all level until you can figure out that next level. In life or video games, we hope you level up, beer in hand!

Meet Shane Watterson from Level Beer

A passion for anything that ferments along with a love of beer is a great formula for becoming a brewer. And that is exactly what Shane Watterson became after finding his first job with the Deschutes Brewery team. Knowing that he ultimately wanted to open a brewery of his own, he teamed up with his other two partners, Jason Barbee and Geoffrey Phillips and did exactly that. Join us as we chat beer, work life balance (Is that really possible?) video game nostalgia and the joys of growing up in the 80s and 90s, and more.
