How demographic changes affect GAA clubs
A big issue for GAA clubs is the changing demographic of this country. According to the latest CSO figures, 63% of the population now live in urban areas. For rural clubs, it means fewer players, and for urban clubs, it means not enough facilities. New demographics committees have now been set up to attempt to match facilities with population.
