The second epistle to Timothy was one of Paul's last books written in prison to a church that was in crisis and needed direction and instruction. Paul shares much wisdom on how to successfully and fruitfully navigate the fifth season, or that in-between season of our lives characterised by a dead past and an unknown future. He exhorts us to be steadfast, sober and always sharing the gospel. Choosing to live strong and becoming mentors also ensures continuity and good health in the Body of Christ.
