Mitchell Lichtenstein talks about his family life, his father Roy, growing up in NJ, and his pursuit to become an actor, writer, producer and director. Mitchell\u2019s life as an actor dates back to 1983 when he worked with Franc Roddham on \u201cLords of Discipline\u201d followed by films with, Robert Altman (Streamers), Louis Malle (Crackers), Ang Lee (The Wedding Banquet), Emily Yi-Ming Liu \u201cKangaroo Man\u201d and Joel Schumacher \u201cFlawless\u201d to name a few. His TV Acting Credits include The Equalizer, Nigthingales, Cheers, As The World Turns, Law and Order, Homicide 

In the 2007 he wrote and directed his first feature, a horror film titled, Teeth, about the pitfalls and power of a girl as a living example of the vagina dentata myth. The film premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival to positive reviews. He went on to write and direct Happy Tears that premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2009. Anjelica, Mitchell\u2019s last feature film in 2015, was selected to be screened in the Panorama section of the 65th Berlin Film Festival.
