BIO: Kristin Satterfield is an engineer in the aerospace field. When she isn't designing satellites or machines, she is daydreaming about the world of tomorrow.

\n

Kristin's passion for writing started at an early age. Lightning Rising her first book was inspired during her high school history class when she did a project on dictatorships. The idea continued to grow as she observed the world around her. Despite her passions, though, writing hasn't always been easy for Kristin. With multiple reading disabilities and dyslexia, she struggled for many years to feel like she was worthy of becoming a writer. Luckily, she has been blessed to be part of some amazing communities that supported her and helped her grow and learn.
