Dr. Tara is a seasoned clinician, educator, and public\nspeaker with over 30 years of expansive experience in the healthcare field. She\nholds a Doctor of Psychology degree from Walden University, with a\nspecialization in Behavioral Health Leadership. She is also an Associate\nProfessor at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, a Member of

CHIEF, a network for women leaders, and an Approved Clinical\nSupervisor by NBCC.

\n

Dr. Tara is a strategic leader who often says she has \u201ca for\nprofit brain and a non-profit heart.\u201d

She has won numerous awards and recognitions for her\noutstanding contributions to the mental health field, such as the Clinician of\nthe Year and the You Make a Difference Award from NAMI.

Dr. Tara has also made numerous television, podcast, and\nradio appearances to share her expertise and insights on a wide array of topics\nsuch as mental health, addictions, and trauma.

Dr. Tara is passionate about mentoring professionals,\nelevating women in the workplace, normalizing discussion about mental health\nglobally, raising awareness of the impact of trauma, and promoting overall\nhealth and wellness.

She maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Monmouth\nCounty, New Jersey, where she specializes in trauma, relationships, female\nempowerment, higher consciousness, and self-actualization. She is an EMDR\npractitioner and a Jungian Sandplay therapist.
