So that's the number of times that any word appears on any particular page of your website.

And the ideal keyword density is actually around the 2 to 3%.

So, if you have a 100 word article for instance, then two or three of those words should be keywords. That's ideal.

If you do too many, you're going to be doing yourself a big disservice.

\n

So, and too many would be 9 or 10 or more.

\n

If you have that many keywords, that much keyword density on a web page, Google will definitely mark you down, when they're ranking for SEO.

So, 2 to 3 words per 100, otherwise known as 2 to 3% as the keyword density, is ideal on any page on your website.
