In their words GOHAR X GRAIL is a vessel for reflection uncovering the hidden influence of Iranian culture on the traditions of the British Isles & beyond. Tracing nomadic migratory patterns, histories of cultural exchange, and shared elements of psyche and mythos, we explore Iran\u2018s profound influence on the so-called \u2018West\u2018 as felt through music, language, storytelling, and collective \u2013 at times unconscious \u2013 symbolic understanding. In collaboration, artist Yasmina Hashemi and poet M. Elizabeth Scott seek to uncover and illuminate the unseen root system of our shared histories and find common resonance.\n\nYasmina and M.
