OG Wisdom (8): Rabbi Dovid M. Cohen
Seven questions to remarkable people who have each trudged their own unique road toward self discovery and mastery.
Today we have Rabbi Dovid M. Cohen a Senior Relationship Officer at YACHAD, a thriving global organization dedicated to addressing the needs of all Jewish individuals with disabilities and ensuring their inclusion in every aspect of Jewish life. He concurrently serves as the Rabbi of Congregation Ohr Torah in North Woodmere, NY, where he is rejuvenating the shul founded by Rabbi Theodore & Esther Jungreis z'l in the 1960's.
His rabbinical career has included serving pulpits on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and in Fair Lawn, NJ. He has a law degree from Columbia Law School and a Masters degree in Family Therapy from the University of North Texas with a concentration in couple dynamics. He has also done course work at the Columbia Business School and the Tikvah Fund in NYC and has a small private therapy practice in N. Woodmere.
