The root word for evangelical is defined as “good message” or “good news”. Christian evangelicals who share their faith are in truth only letting their faith glow brightly by sharing the message of the “good news” of Jesus Christ. When someone in the world accepts the truth of the message of Jesus, they see the beauty of Christ and of the messenger who shared the story of Jesus with them. The beauty of that moment results in them experiencing peace, salvation, and the recognition of the greatness of God.
