Delayed Impact with Rio Richards

Published: April 30, 2018, 10 a.m.

At the age of sixteen while snowboarding Rio Richards suffered a traumatic brain injury that like most accidents was quickly treated and addressed.\xa0 However, from the outside the true trauma could not be seen like a black eye or broken bone.\xa0 After an overnight stay in the hospital she went home unaware of the mental struggles she would endure for years to come.\xa0 The answer to the question of what she had to do to help herself is not what you think.

Rio co-hosts\xa0The Primal Brain Podcast\xa0along with last weeks guest Jenni Aguilar!\xa0 Their one two punch of experience and knowledge is easily accessible.\xa0 We are huge fans and highly recommend it!

Love in action is listening to understand, not to react.
