The Spirit Behind Black Racism and White Fear (Sunday Service 7/26/09)

Published: May 12, 2020, midnight

BOND Sunday Service, originally aired July 26, 2009: Jesse Lee Peterson opens up talking about Harvard Prof. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., arrest controversy, with Cambridge Police Sgt. James Crowley. The black professor reportedly got belligerent and displayed a nasty attitude toward the cops who'd been called about an individual forcing the front door open. Then-president Barack Hussein Obama admitted he didn't know what happened, but alluded to racial profiling, driving while black, and claimed the police "acted stupidly." Jesse's point is: Our battle is a spiritual battle, a warfare between right and wrong, good and evil. It's not about black vs white, men vs women \u2014 it's not physical at all. And history does not matter! The people react, including black ladies who disagree with Jesse.
