Multiple flavors doesn\u2019t just describe their shortbread\u2026 This Jamaican man and Scottish-Italian woman fall in love in their teens having no clue what the next several years would entail for them. Young, immature, and invincible Anwar had a wake-up call in college that made him reconsider his decisions as a dealer, and ultimately propelled him into selling other (and legal \U0001f61c) products. He and his wife have been together for 20 years, now married with 3 children, and running a successful small business! The shortbread itself and the few people who bake, package, and send it off may be small, but the reach is worldwide with them distributing through Amazon, QVC, select Whole Foods stores, several local stores in Charlottesville VA where they live, and working on getting on the Fresh Market shelves soon!!! Individually wrapped shortbread (packaged in cute little boxes illustrated by one of their friends who depicts their family in the form of rabbits with a poem about their family on the back written by co-founder/owner and wife of Anwar, Laura) can be enjoyed in multiple flavors from my personal favorite, Earl Grey, to Cinnamon, Lavender, Meyer Lemon, Pumpkin Spice, Cherry Blossom, Birthday Cake, or Traditional. These are wonderful to enjoy slowly and intentionally with a cup of tea or coffee, and they also make terrific gifts, wedding favors, gift basket stuffers, or just a delicious way to support a small family-run business \u263a\ufe0f.
