The Gift of Hope
In this message, Pastor Lucas uses Psalm 130 to show the hope we have of being free from sin. Many times in life we wrestle with the shame of sin. We understand God's forgiveness of our sins, but we struggle to comprehend God's forgiveness of our sinful nature. In this Psalm, David also wrestled with this problem, and like him, we need to come to the realization that God's grace and love for us far exceeds all our sins, and that we need to look forward to the time in the future when we will be free from sin completely.
