Ananias and Sapphira sought glory and fame for their actions that looked spiritual, and their dishonesty was punished in dramatic fashion. We too, as Christians must be careful not to simply put up a facade of Christian action and appearance, but must focus on being truly passionate for Christ through His power working in us from the inside out.
