Asbury Students Share First-Hand Accounts of Revival

The minority affects the majority.

Today was such a blessing. Thanks to the faithfulness of the three young women—Charity, Grace, and Jacklyn—who gave their testimony as students of Asbury University during the recent revival.

Pastor Paul shared in this service that revivals, like this one, have been used by God as instruments of awakening power within communities all throughout history. God DOES move in ways that transform entire nations.

During this service, we heard what that looks like from three unique perspectives: how awakening brings unity among believers (Charity), how it breaks chains and deeply roots our identities in the Lord as Children of God (Jacklyn), and how revival brings us not simply to worship what God can do for us but rather WHO GOD IS (Grace). And all of us have experienced how encounters like this have far-reaching ripple effects, word of mouth, whispers, and rumors of the Spirit being poured out on a massive scale that magnetically attracts us to the feet of the King.

Meditate on these things this week as you pray and seek the face of God alone, with your family, and with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
