Parameshwarah: The Supreme Lord. It also means one who is Supreme and who is the Lord. Lord Shiva is the karmaphala daata - giver of the fruits of actions. He blesses the devotees with their desired results. Though one worships devatas, they are not independent. Lord alone is independent and supreme to give all results. Hence one should worship the Supreme alone. He grants purity of mind to those who dedicates actions to Him. He also liberates one from all bondages.
