Saatvikah: One whose body is made up of sattva. Lord uses Tamo Guna to destroy the Universe, but His body is made up of Sattva.
Though Lord Shiva is above all the Gunas. He is Nirguna by nature and He takes up Pure Sattva when manifesting as forms. The Lord also Sattva guna in his devotees by blessing them with gyaana ( wisdom ) and bhakti
(Devotion ).
