He controls them and stops them from harming people. He also entertains them and protects the devotees from them. aves the good from their harms by his dance. In Mah\u0101bh\u0101rata Lord Shiva tells about this to Goddess Um\u0101 : None other than me is capable of rectifying the fear from bhootas. Being with them, I protect the beings daily. By my order and command, the boothas don't kill people and I dance before them in the cremation grounds to give them pleasure and bliss and take care of them.
