Actions and attachments are prompted because of the ignorance of the Self; with knowledge one is no longer deluded and should withdraw from the unreal temporal world. One who seeks the Absolute Truth sees things as they are, transcends the body and the mind with all its impurities, transcends the intellect, practices Sakshi bhava, cultivates tivra mumukshutvam and turns within to contemplate steadily. When the 3 knots of the heart - avidya, kaam, karma are completely destroyed, this seeker is freed from all extrovertedness and selfish actions.
