This is the 3rd form of ekadasha Rudra

Girisha \u0917\u093f\u0930\u094c \u0936\u0947\u0924\u0947 \u0907\u0924\u093f \u0917\u093f\u0930\u093f\u0936 : One who lives in mount ( kailaasa ). He protects it and becomes the cause of its glory.

Sha also means one who can bend something. The Lord used Meru as the Bow, Vishnu as arrow, Sun and moon as wheels of the chariot, earth was chariot and Brahmaji was charioteer. The Lord bent Meru mountain to use it as a bow.

Giri also means Vedas . One who is seated on the head of the Vedas ( i.e . ) one who is praised with great respect by the vedas . One who is the soul of the Vedas and is to be known only through the Vedas.

Also means one who shows the mountain as weighhtless . ( i.e . ) by lifting the mount meru as his bow , he makes the mountain as weightless, due to his strength and lifting capacity it seems like that .

This name is praised in the rudra prashna of krishna yajurveda . \u0928\u092e\u094b \u0917\u093f\u0930\u093f\u0936\u093e\u092f\u091a \u0936\u093f\u092a\u093f\u0935\u093f\u0937\u094d\u091f\u093e\u092f\u091a nam\u014d giri\u1e61\u0101yaca \u1e61ipivi\u1e63\u1e6d\u0101yaca
