Somasooryaagni \u2013 lochanaha - One who has the Moon, the Sun and the Fire as His eyes. The name viroopaaksha already covered this. The Lord's eyes are described as three primary light sources. Hence the Lord is always looking at us through the Sun, the Moon and the fire.
The two eyes represent the Sun(intellect) and the Moon(Mind). The third eye stands for the Fire of Knowledge which burns away ignorance. It is with this third eye that the deity of passion(kaamadeva) was burnt. The Lord opens this eye at the time of the dissolution of the Universe.
