Talk 29 : Verse 56-58
The Guru reiterates that neither yoga, nor philosophy, nor actions or devotion can lead to Realisation. The paths are merely preparatory and cater to the different types of human personalities. Through the analogy of a musician this talk now explains the importance of self-effort for spiritual evolution. And finally the Guru advises the use of the scriptures for Atma vidya and not mere scholarliness.
