The Guru, having understood the fear of the learned student is reassuring him not to be scared and that there is way to cross over samsara. The Guru assures him that even the great masters have done so through the time tested knowledge of the scriptures. The Supreme knowledge rises with reflection, vicara, on the Vedantic truths, finally resulting in the end of bondage and the sorrows of samsara.
