Why was Narad ji sad? Isn\u2019t he a detached person?
Narad means one who is brings knowledge and bliss to people. Narad ji is not sad for his personal gain or loss. He is sad about what all will happen in Kaliyug.
Narad ji meets Bhakti Mata and she is sad because Jnana and Vairagya, both her children, have become old though she is young.
Why is Bhakti young and her 2 children old?
Symbolic meaning is bhakti without jnana and vairagya is not true bhakti. Knowledge of who Bhagwan is must be there as well as detachment from worldly pleasure, people, situations must be there so that the
mind turns towards Bhagwan. Why was Kaliyug allowed to exist by Praikshit Raja? He should have killed it! Narad ji explains in Kaliyug the Jiva can get liberation by merely chanting the name of the Lord.
