Sharvaha means one who destroys everything in the end. Sharvaha is one of the eight important forms of lord Shiva . This name is also praised in the Vedas in Aghora mah\u0101 mantra \u2013 Sarvebhyah Sarva Sharvebhyo Namaste astu Rudrarupebhyaha.

He who destroys or inflicts pain. He destroys all creation at the time of Samhaara. Shrnaati hinasti anta-kale sarvam iti. He is the presiding deity over fire in this form. Vedas say - Sarvebhyah
sarva Sharvebhyo namaste astu rudra rupebhyaha.\u2028Life is uncertain but death is certain. When we know that we go back to HIM alone, there is no fear of death. Eg. A Dog eager to meet the Master behind the house door, waits in anticipation and is excited to meet his Master. Same way, when we know that the Lord awaits us, we drop all fear of death. \u2028\u2028

Shiva removes sins of devotees and confers liberation on them. Rudra prashna praises Shiva as the caring master of all life forms, calling Him Sharva. Namah Sharvaaya ca pashupataye ca.
Shiva purana says Sharva is the name of that form of Shiva that presides over the earth Urvi Sarvaatmikaa murtir iti shaastrasya
nischayaha. He is also the one who bears us all in the form of earth.

Sharva is also the 9 th form of the Ekadasha Rudra. He took this form and destroyed Tripurasura, humbled Lord Yama. He has an axe in this form.
